Distribution and cooling

The distribution system of an engine involves several mechanical parts in addition to the two fundamental components which are the timing belt or chain, such as bearings and return pulleys, tensioners and self-tensioners to adjust the correct tension of the belt or chain, and not least the water pump in systems in which it is driven by the toothed belt.
From the correct harmony of all these elements depends the safety and efficiency of the engine

It is for this reason that IAP to develop this product line has selected components that are able to meet the requirements of the first system with, for example, toothed belts made in Japan with basic profiles that allow the correct transmission of synchronous force, toothed belts in hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) particularly resistant to wear and temperature, high quality or premium brand tensioners and roller bearings (GMB, NSK, NTN).

Belt distribution kits, chain distribution kits (provided if necessary with or without VVTi phase variator and complete with guides) and distribution kits with IAP Quality Parts® water pump, allowing you to save time and get all in one order the components needed for replacement.

As far as the cooling parts are concerned, the water pump is the essential element that guarantees the engine optimal cooling. In order for this to happen safely and efficiently, it is necessary to select reliable products made with advanced technologies. For this reason IAP has in its range AISIN water pumps made of die-cast aluminium and carbon ceramic seals to prevent coolant leaks, and an assortment of water pumps and viscous joints IAP Quality Parts® made by original equipment manufacturers according to the OEM specifications. The assortment is completed with thermostats (TAMA made in Japan), radiator hoses, poly-V and trapezoidal belts selected among the main Asian manufacturers of original equipment including BANDO, whose proven OE quality and experience, are the guarantee of an offer reliable in terms of operation, silence and safety.
